# Creating A Backup

#### What is HexaBackup?

HexaBackup is a tool provided by Hexane Networks in the [Game Panel](https://game.hexane.co) providing you with the ability to backup your server on a moments notice.

#### What files does HexaBackup backup and where does it save?

HexaBackup saves to `your_server_ip/hn-game-backups` folder, under the filename of `hn-game-backup-YYYYMMDD-HHMMSS`.

#### Method

1. Navigate to the [Game Panel](https://game.hexane.co) and proceed to login.

2. Click on **Game Services** button and if prompted select the server you would like to backup.

3. Click on the button labeled **HexaBackup (Example Version v0.0)**.

4. A window should appear titled **Execute this script?** with a button labeled **OK**.

5. This should execute the backup script and allow you to access the backup in the area described in the above section.
