#### What are MySQL databases and users used for?

MySQL databases are used for storing information.

#### Creating a MySQL Database

1. Login to the [Web Hosting Control Panel](https://control.hexaneweb.net) by doing one of the following: using the login information provided in the **email** or navigate to the [Billing Area](https://billing.hexanenetworks.com/) then **My Services** to retrieve your login.

2. Once you are in, click **MySQL Manager**.

3. To the right, click **Create New Database**.

#### Creating a MySQL User

1. Click the database you wish to create a user for.
