#### What does importing a MySQL database do?

Importing a MySQL database uploads data to a database on your web hosting account.

#### Importing a MySQL Database

1. Login to the [Web Hosting Control Panel](https://control.hexaneweb.net) by doing one of the following: using the login information provided in the **email** or navigate to the [Billing Area](https://billing.hexanenetworks.com/) then **My Services** to retrieve your login.

2. Once you are in, click **phpMyAdmin**.

3. Click **Import**.
